Made in North Korea – the exhibition of the graphics collected for our book published by Phaidon was shown in Seoul – the first time North Korean graphics were allowed to be shown to the south Korean public.
Permission is given to run a tour for amateur /semi-professional artists specialising in linocuts to learn from the Korean artists.
We hope to run this tour this Autumn!

Ex-tourist Lois florist with a passion for photography puts on an exhibition of her work ‘Curios Beauty in the DPRK’. Curious Beauty in the DPRK is a body of work focusing on interior design and architecture in North Korea.
Shot in late 2017, Lois was inspired by her specific love and fascination for unusual design choices, and in this showcase, she uncovers scenes of decor and design unlike anywhere else in the world. Constantly questioning our perception of beauty, Lois’ work frames moments of this scarcely-seen nation, with the hope of shedding new light on our pre-conceptions.

The launch of Tourist Map Of Pyongyang (2019) — an intricately detailed hand-drawn panorama inspired by FULLER’s experience as an artist visiting North Korea’s capital.
Parallel Papers is a graphic design and packaging design artist exchange in comparing how Western and Korean artists respond to a brief.
The project observed the development of a concept, the design process and the techniques of expressing this in graphic form.
The work will be exhibited in 2020.
