All Occupied 8.8 Million Tons of Grain!
On January 17, 1973, North Korean leader Kim Il Sung, delivered a speech entitled “Bringing about a great conversion in agricultural production” at the agreement meeting of agricultural workers.
A Korean colleague of ours (he is a tour guide but was mobilised to work at a farm during the low season) told us: “Following this, he is credited as giving on-site guidance to cooperative farms across the country, from soil management to plant variety allocation, sowing, seedbed management, transplanting, corn cultivation in nutrition parks, water management , and directly guided all agricultural projects such as fertilisation”.
Through this process, the main agricultural law was born and systematised.
The man is wearing the commemorative Medal of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
