Send More Chemical Fertilizer to the Countryside!
The 3rd Seven Year Plan was proposed in the 6th National Congress of the Communist Party of DPRK in October 1980.
This congress stated the economic goals of “achieving the top ten long-term goals and actively promoting science and technology”. Within these goals was a focus on “continuing to vigorously accelerate the subjectification, modernization, and scientification of the people’s economy, and laying a material and technological foundation”.
During this period, apatite mines were developed all over the country. Raw material bases for phosphate fertiliser production were consolidated, and phosphate fertiliser plants were established on all roads. Moreover, the chemistry level of rural managers made significant progress in establishing a scientific fertilisation system and effective use of fertilisers.
Note: Propaganda is crafted across various studios throughout North Korea. The most renowned manifestation of this is in propaganda posters. In response to the fascination and interest expressed by visitors who accompanied us on Koryo Tours, we have produced meticulously hand-painted replicas of existing posters. We also aim to display originals here for those with an artistic or academic interest. The original propaganda posters are part of the Koryo Studio Collection and are not for sale.
