The Wooden Prop is Coal!
Timber is used for props used in coal mines and the material must be of good quality so as to last and enable increase coal production .
Korean Translation:
동발나무는 탄광이나 광산에서 쓰는 갱목으로서 탄광의 모든 갱도에는 동발이 있다. 동발은 갱내가 무너지지 않도록 지탱하는 기둥 지주를 말한다. 탄광개발 초기에는 동발의 재료로 목재를 많이 썼는데, 나무동발로 활용하는 목재를 갱목이라고 한다.
동발을 잘 세워야 막장이 튼튼하고 동발재료가 제때에 보장되여야 탄광에서 석탄생산을 높일수있다.
