From the ‘Starting Work’ series

A commission by Koryo Studio with artist Kim Ik Hyon to produce a series of 5 linocuts based on typical jobs for young people. Koryo Studio discussed with 30 high school students what jobs they believed contribute the most to DPRK society today. The series was exhibited at Verbeelde Werkelijkheid Gallery: Kunst uit Noord-Korea’ held on the 11th, 12th and 13th of May 2018 in the H29, Klingelbeekseweg in Oosterbeek, the Netherlands.
