Photographs during an architectural tour
Inside North Korea – Guardian journalist and photographer Oliver Wainwright travelled to DPRK on the Koryo Tours architectural tour. The photographs he took on the trip inspired Taschen to publish the images taken during his week-long trip in Pyongyang. From the mosaic-lined lobbies of Soviet-era health centres to the candy-coloured interiors of brand new theatres, his photographs shine a spotlight on the city.
