Looking at the Ferris Wheel in the background it is likely Taesong Park but this has not been confirmed.
A kitsch piece, but it captures the atmosphere beautifully. Ink work on mulberry paper and wonderful technique for this piece that received various accolades. Now in the Koryo Studio collection.
By dropping the eye-line to that of the children, the artist treats the viewer as if they were also a child being attacked by snowballs (from an adult’s perspective it would be looking down on the children).
